ROLLINGSTONES Magazine Design

Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign
I designed a magazine concept for Rolling Stone, centered around the exciting collaboration between Murakami, NewJeans, and the Powerpuff Girls. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000s Powerpuff Girls comic books, I reimagined the NewJeans characters in cartoon form, infused with Murakami's unique design style. Additionally, I created exclusive Powerpuff Girls-inspired versions of NewJeans characters.

Throughout the magazine, I incorporated dynamic and playful elements, depicting the heroic Powerpuff Girls and the NewJeans PPG characters as they engage in battles against villains designed by Murakami. These scenes add an entertaining, whimsical twist to the overall design, capturing the essence of both the pop culture references and the collaborative creative energy behind this project.

I also designed these scenes by interpreting Murakami’s signature characters and the Powerpuff Girls through my own lens, creating original compositions. All the images presented in the magazine were either entirely created by me or meticulously collaged to form a unique visual narrative. This process allowed me to merge various artistic elements and infuse my personal interpretation into the designs.
